The Community

More than 10,000 people live in vibrant Kingsbridge in Central Mississauga. The population will increase dramatically as residential development continues, adding to the already existing nine large condominiums.

Kingsbridge Matters is here to support the growing community in various ways.

We are proud to be in partnership with Rotary club and Skills for Life where we provide numerous programs that will beneficial to all community members.

Despite its rapid growth, and significant contributions to the economic and cultural life of Mississauga, Kingsbridge has been excluded from the city’s transit future.

It hasn’t been designated for a station on the planned Hurontario Light Rail Transit (HuLRT), which will connect the Port Credit GO Station in Mississauga to the Gateway Terminal in Brampton.

Kingsbridge was not even considered !

When we raised our concerns as a united community to advocate for a LRT stop, the community was denied and then penalized.

The original engineered Transformer location was moved to Kingsbridge where it will cause health and safety issues for the entire community.
